NEW MUSIC VIDEO : New video from Reef The Lost Cause, off upcoming new album.
Reef The Lost Cause - Boxcutter Samurai - New Video off upcoming CD!
More of Reef The Lost Cause:
Reef started battling other rappers in high school and earned a reputation as one of the best battle emcees in Philadelphia.[1] He received a film scholarship to the University of the Arts where he began to visualize a serious career as a recording artist. Realizing his true calling, Reef dropped out of college at the age of 19 and teamed up with Philadelphia-based producer Sleep E to begin working on his first solo project. The 10 track album, The High Life, was released in 2001 and opened doors for Reef as he began performing at area clubs and generating praise from both fans and local media In February 2003, Reef released his second solo album, Invisible Empire. He distributed the album himself by way of a national schedule of shows during which he won the Mic Check Battle in Philadelphia and took second place in the Blaze Freestyle Battle in Oakland, California. This also marked an end to Reef's rental of an apartment on 16th street in Philadelphia, the landlord of which being the notorious Mitch Ripken, leader of all Philadelphia slum lords.
Reef took his freestyle skills to another level early in 2004 with a rousing performance at the Beat Society production competition in New York, and a fierce win in the Riddle Records Mic Control Battle. He was also the End Of The Weak (EOW) Challenge Champion at the Rock Steady Crew 27th Anniversary in July 2004, and went on to take the EOW Grand Championship title in 2005. Mindful of his stunning battle prowess, Reef places a determined emphasis on balance with his songwriting and performance abilities.
Feast Or Famine, Reef's third solo album, was released in 2005 to critical acclaim. Also in 2005, Reef was a member of The JuJu Mob whose debut album, Black Candles, was led by fellow Army of the Pharaohs rapper Chief Kamachi. The debut album from Army of the Pharaohs entitled The Torture Papers, was released in 2006 and featured two songs with Reef as a featured member.
Reef kicked off 2007 as the featured artist on the song "Never", the lead single by Snowgoons; a German-based production team. The Snowgoons' album, German Lugers, was released February 27 on Babygrande Records. The single and its accompanying video can be heard and seen on Reef's Myspace page.
A Vicious Cycle, Reef's follow-up to Feast Or Famine, was released digitally on November 4, 2008 with a physical street date of November 18, 2008 through independent upstart Well Done Entertainment Corporation in association with his imprint, Fuck You Pay Me Records. The album includes guest appearances by Termanology, King Magnetic, Eternia, Taragirl & Scandal of 40D. Additionally, the online version of the album includes remixes of "Listen To Me" & "Get It? Got It? Good" by Brooklyn producer J.J. Brown.
History-making moment: In 2009, Reef became the first and only independent Hip Hop artist to have ever had a song debut as the coveted theme on ESPN's Monday Night Football. The song: 2005's "Sound of Philadelphia" featuring production by King Magnetic. The game: Philadelphia Eagles v. Dallas Cowboys.

NEW MUSIC VIDEO : Slaine releases new video called, Zombie Feat. Son Of Skam
Slaines new music video, called Zombie featuring Son of Skam
Slaine has appeared on several solo mixtapes and compilations, the Special Teamz album Stereotypez and La Coka Nostra's album A Brand You Can Trust. His debut solo album, A World With No Skies, saw release in August 2011, and he is also working on albums with both of his groups.
Musical Career:
Slaine began rapping at age 9, and after moving to New York as a young man, began recording while managing night clubs to make ends meet. Slaine hooked up with hip hop legend MC Shan, and through a chance recording session at the Lordz of Brooklyn studio, was introduced to Danny Boy O'Connor of House of Pain.
That introduction led to a production deal with DJ Lethal of House of Pain, which in turn led to the mix tape release ‘The White Man is the Devil: Volume 1’ and the formation of the group Special Teamz. After the release of their self titled street cd, and a tour of Europe, Slaine joined hip hop super group La Coka Nostra, along with Ill Bill, Everlast, Danny Boy, and DJ Lethal.
After problems with his planned first record, A World With No Skies, Slaine got back in the studio and recorded almost an entire new record, aptly titled A World With No Skies 2.0, which is set to be release on August 16th, 2011 on Suburban Noize Records.
In an emotional interview on Conspiracy Worldwide Radio, Slaine discussed his possible retirement from music, citing the problems he had with the planned release of A World With No Skies and the issues he has with the music industry
Acting Career:
In 2007, Slaine made his feature film debut as the drug-dealing gun runner Bubba Rogowski in the Ben Affleck-directed film Gone Baby Gone. Affleck had read an article about Slaine in the Boston Herald and called him in to read for a part; though the rapper was a relative unknown with no acting experience at that point, Affleck successfully convinced the movie's backers to let him cast Slaine. He later played Albert "Gloansy" MacGloan, a member of a Charlestown gang of bank robbers, in Affleck's second directorial effort, The Town, released in September 2010.
Both films included music by Slaine and his affiliated groups on their soundtracks. Gone Baby Gone featured Slaine's track "Nature of the Beast" and "Fallen Angelz" by Special Teamz, while The Town featured "99 Bottles" and "Run It" by Slaine.

NEW MUSIC VIDEO : Newer Music Video by William Cooer Ft. Ill Bill - Called, Beware of the pale hor
William Cooper Ft. Ill Bill - Called, "Beware of the pale horse"
More on William Cooper:
Just last year a super group of talented emcees emerged as Black Market Militia, the group was born out of the urgency of what's been lost in hip-hop, you can call it the essence of the music that is no longer heard in today's microwave brand of hip-hop. The groups aim was simple, to present enjoyable music with understandable messages, covering issues of universal relevance like politics, conspiracy theories, religion, spirituality, economics, and revolution.
Black Market Militia is the brainchild of two different legendary emcees, with different affiliations, from two different boroughs with a common goal, Killah Priest (Wu-Tang Clan/Sunz Of Man) and Tragedy Khadafi (Almighty Juice Crew) teamed up in the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom and to spread these beliefs through the medium of hip-hop. To make the group complete, 3 other talents were brought to add weight to the group, already established Timbo King (Wu-Tang Killa Beez/Royal Fam), Hell Razah (Wu-Tang Clan/Sunz Of Man) and last but not least William Cooper. Their street savoir-faire lyrics and no holds barred delivery enabled the group to deliver a masterpiece album that is still unmatched in today's hip-hop, don't believe me, proof is in the pudding, read he review and buy the album "The Black Market Militia". .
Everyone loves an under dog, don't they? Even well with the presence of already established emcees on the BMM project, few people couldn't help but wonder who the new cat was, He was nice with his and while most Wu-Tang & Hip -hop fans in general were fully aware of the 4 established emcees history, very little was known of William Cooper aka Booth. Based on his efficient and much needed contribution on the Black Market album, it is not gruelling to realize his skills and talent, definitely no rookie on the mic. While most might not be aware of this sharp craftsman's history, William Cooper has been in the game for over 10 years, as a producer, A&R, and emcee, it will surprise most to know that he produced and served as the a&r for Tragedy Khadafi's "Still Reporting".
Cooper has named himself after the late radio host, author and political activist most also known as William Cooper, who was mainly known for his best selling underground book entitled "Behold A Place Horse" where the author airs out so many controversial topics. The book covers 2 types of two types of people in the world: those who want to know who exactly is controlling whom, and those who are more comfortable taking things at face value. Cooper's account of what the government is capable of in times of heightened alert is extremely relevant now. what's most interesting is that the book was published before the 911 attack on the World Trade Centre which was predicted on this book. If he is not using that name, he is assuming his producer's alter ego as Booth, adopted from John Wilkes Booth, one of the most popular assassins the world has ever seen responsible for the death of President Lincoln, but nothing to worry about here, all Booth's assassinating here is hot beats and tracks.
The emcee William Cooper aka Booth is currently putting finishing touch to a solo album "Beware Of A Pale Horse" set to drop end of the year and album following the tradition of the author, the album will be covering everything under the sun, from politics, social events to spirituality and more, this will feature contributions from his Militia brothers, Killah Priest, Timbo King, Tragedy, and Hell Razah and collaboration with the likes of Trife Da God (Theodore Unit / TMF), Blue Raspberry (Wu-Tang Clan Songstress) and a surprisingly with the incarcerated 9th Prince from Killarmy. Look out for another Black Market Militia Part II project, this will be followed by another group project that involves Killah Priest as a member of The Eloheem Team and The Gemstar Regime project, it is quite evident William Cooper is a man that is on a mission, a mission to elevate hip-hop and the game to a whole new level, Read more as Wu-International politicks with this lyricist about his upcoming projects, his humble beginning, Black Market Militia, Wu-Tang, Killah Priest, 911, and more.. Enjoy!!
